Crazy 88 - Weary Angel Girl

Multitrack recording

• Weary Angel Girl was recorded in about 5 hours from start to finish. Taking longest to nail down was the correct guitar tones for the chorus and verses.
• Fun Fact: There were no less than 10 guitar tracks playing at any one time during the song.

Curtis & Holly Jones - Latin Song

• The “Latin Song” was recorded live at the Dahlonega Bear on the Square Mountain Festival.
• Fun Fact: The “Latin Song” was recorded from 100ft in front of the stage using an X/Y pattern of MXL 991’s.

Tubz Brewing - Espresso Stout

30 Second radio spot

• This radio spot was created for a local micro-brewery in Atlanta, GA.  When producing this, I went for a more upbeat ad in an attempt to excite the buyer about their day by having a Tubz Espresso Stout.
• Fun Fact: Everything for this spot was recorded live. Including the slide guitar which was actually an electric guitar played with two quarters.

Audioslave - Cochise (Minute edit)

2 Track Edit

•  I was given the task to edit a full legnth song down to 1 minute. Audioslave’s Cochise was a personal favorite of mine at the time so I edited it. It has a few distinct parts which include it’s intro, verse, and chorus. My goal was to edit those three parts together in a way that still made sense.

Echovalve - C.O.C.

Multitrack recording

• This song was recorded over (2) 4 hour sessions. The first session was: drums, bass, base GTR, and scratch Vox. The second session was: GTR overdubs and final vox. Mixed in Adobe Audition 3.0.
• Fun Fact: Due to limitations of the school’s studio at the time, I only had 8 simultaneous inputs.  In order to have scratch tracks (bass, GTR, and vox) I was only left with 5 inputs for drums. These ended up being: Kick, Snare, Hi-Hat, and a stereo drum submix which included pre-panned overheads and toms.

VooDoo Magoo - Calm Me Down

Live Multitrack

• This piece was recorded live at The Centennial Olympic Park: Music at Noon series.  16 channels of audio were ran to a Digi 003 and a Motu ADAT (8 Channels to each). These tracks were later mixed in Sonar 7.0.
• Fun Fact: Extensive noise reduction was placed on the lead guitar track due to an extremely noise OLD Fender Twin amp.
